LBS event well received.

So everyone was quite impressed with the LBS panel. The speakers were great and tops in the LBS field. One thing that struck me about the event is that we are loaded with CEO’s, VCs and large company folks at Mobile Monday Mid-Atlantic, who know how to network, but not enough start-ups. Both Mobile Monday events have been loaded with contacts with gold Rolodexes both speaking and attending — with great access to everything a mobile start-up could dream of. I know at Smarter Agent or Ulocate or Traffic.com, when we started out and wanted to get on the deck we would stalk the likes of carriers and top vendors – anyone that would help – and they are all at our events. These types of speakers and attendees at Mobile Monday Mid-Atlantic should be taken advantage of – get out of your comfort zone, come out to an event, and go for it!
